The Terrorists Among Us

Alicia Price looks like a nice girl. She’s wearing a T-shirt with the picture of a bear carrying a sign saying ‘Free Hugs.”

Alicia Price – June 15, 2011
Nice girl or just another criminal?

Moments later there is a video sequence of her taking a cigarette lighter and setting a police car on fire (starting at 7:35). She’s pleaded not guilty and her case will come to trial 9/13/2013; months from now.

She’s not alone, of course; the Vancouver Sun has a database where you can scroll through the hundreds of charges arising from the Stanley Cup riot of 2011.

There are several points I’d like to make about those charged and, more importantly, the tens of thousands of rioters who were not charged and will never face any public sanction for breaking the law, trashing the streets, stealing private property, torching private cars and attacking the police that day in June two years ago.

The first is that these were not a band of organized agitators from out of province or out of country; these were our kids. Otherwise passive couch potatoes, video game players and smart phone texters became a raging mob of anti-social, anti-capitalist, anti-democratic maniacs. Young people, largely from the suburbs, went on a crazed rampage that went on for hours and hours.

The second point is that they didn’t confine their assaults to private property and the police; they also attacked individuals who tried to intervene, notably one Robert Mackay who tried to prevent rioters from entering the Bay and was assaulted by 15 people.

Forget the phrase ‘Stanley Cup riot.’ It wasn’t over a hockey game, a cup or anything else. This was a riot of pure nihilistic anarchy; a physical repudiation of not just capitalism, but of society, order, individual rights, private property, laws, and most notably of their parents. Our young people don’t just ignore their parents, they despise us and our entire system. They have become cultural Marxists and anarchists, ready and willing to tear society down at the slightest provocation.

In attempting to do so, they made a point that has been made by revolutionaries time and again around the world; that when the social contract breaks down at its core, it cannot be propped up for long by the police; not that the Vancouver police did much propping up because they were, presumably, under orders not to injure much less arrest the rioters.

In earlier days, the army would have been called out, the Riot Act read and the rioters shot until they dispersed. The conscription riot in Montreal in 1917 is a case in point. Well, we won’t see that again. There is no government in Canada, no Mayor, no Army commander, prepared to fire on rioters in Canada these days and yet there are tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of young people ready to shred every aspect of modern Western society.

Not that they need to riot. They can wreck society by just doing more of what they do the rest of the time: not getting married, not having children, not voting, not going to church and not taking part in civic life.

Are they terrorists? Perhaps not by the conventional definition; but they certainly terrify me.

A Canada passed on to childless, self-centered, nihilists who believe in open borders, climate change, the ‘evils’ of GM food, oil sands, tankers, fracking, nuclear energy and who think Islam is ‘cool’ should terrify all of us.

The Simple Solution to Canada’s Political Apathy

I’ve often said in times past that the solution to the political apathy Canada is drowning in would be solved if we just shut down professional hockey. No more Hockey Night in Canada, no more government bailouts of millionaire players and billionaire owners. Just get rid of the sport entirely.

That was many years ago, the last time there was an NHL lockout, or as I prefer to call it, billionaires bickering with millionaires over how much of our money they should each take.

Now, before the flame wars and murder threats start, hear me out.

I was wrong.

The solution was not to simply end hockey, the Sacred Cow of Canadian Sport…

You need to add a lot more gasoline to the flames of discontent that flare at the feet of Canadians than that.

The Solution to Canada’s Political Apathy, I realized, was two-fold.

First, there is the hockey strike, lockout, whatever you want to call it. Who cares. Just end pro hockey entirely. Hey, it will be great for the junior ranks who will benefit from people actually attending their games instead of sitting on the couch watching the television!

Second, shut down of every brewing company in the country. Dump all existing stocks of beer down the drain and smash all the beer bottles.

Raze the refineries to the ground while simultaneously bulldozing all those pro hockey arenas paid for by taxpayers so millionaire hockey players would have somewhere to play for their billionaire hockey team owners.

Yes, I know it sounds a little harsh at first glance, but think about it.

Hockey and Beer are Canada’s claim to fame. They’re also the major reason for the apathy Canadians have toward politics and the problems our nation faces!

Perhaps with no Sacred Cow to watch on Saturday nights and no beer to swill down while we watch it, maybe, just maybe we will awaken from our national stupor to realize Canada faces some very serious challenges; challenges for which our pandering politicians clearly don’t have all the answers.

The answer to Canada’s problems is not one more bloody Big Government solution. Politicians are good at two things and two things only: getting votes and giving themselves massive entitlements.

Does anyone but a politician believe it’s “fair” to give a single dollar to a pension fund while demanding Canadian Taxpayers match that with $24? Of course not.

Does anything happen about this sort of corruption? Nope. And don’t even get me started on the gold-plated pensions for government workers… they need to be stripped bare too.

It’s never gonna happen as long as we’ve got Hockey Night in Canada and Beer.

Politicians and bureaucrats prefer it that way.

Under Agenda 21 “Property Seizure” is Seen as “Profit-Sharing”

Canada’s Constitution is the supreme law.

Any law passed by any federal, provincial, or territorial government that is inconsistent with the constitution is invalid.

The next highest law in the pecking order of paramountcy is the Criminal Code of Canada and the same rules of law apply–or should apply–under the Criminal Code as with the Constitution.

The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act, otherwise known as SCAN, has been a bone choking my throat ever since it was invented from somebody’s zealous imagination.

By the same token, a noisy, disruptive drug house was a bone sticking in the craw of every property owner and tenant who lived in the otherwise quiet, peaceful, respectable Old Town area of Whitehorse.

This hastily-written piece of legislation was well-intentioned but any law passed to simply to take legal action against one specific target is misdirected.

And it’s hard to say where a law may lead to in future unless a judge has the fortitude to rule that it is invalid in relationship to the paramountcy of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Criminal Code.

SCAN is handy because it is based on civil law and depends on bureaucratic scrutiny; private parties can get into the act, too. It does not require criminal charges from the police and convictions from a court. Therefore, this flimsy non-law is open for drastic abuse.

Soon after SCAN’s enactment, sure ‘nuff, the Yukon legislature made a failed attempt to quickly usher in a draconian Civil Forfeiture Act. Thankfully, the quick-acting public, nimbler than the deceitful politicians, clamped the lid shut on the forfeiture refuse posthaste.

There are already enough laws covering all bases in the Criminal Code tome to choke an oversized camel. Why does a territorial government need to write more unlawful laws to deal with one particular drug house in one community?

“Social Justice” Is Not Kids’ Play

In reference to Don Laird’s Selfish Spoiled Brats Steal Money from 9-Year-Old Girl Scout, Say They’re Entitled to It  and Christopher di Armani’s Telling the Truth to Spoiled Brats Across North America, it sounds as though the epidemic of ‘spoiled brats’ infiltrating society need to be tuned up.

Each generation wants the next generation of children to be better educated and have an easier life than their parents before them.

This honorable, feel-good parental philosophy has evolved into a disgusting, socialistic generation of whining, sniveling, lazy, jealous, envious, greedy, grabby, selfish, irresponsible, ill-mannered, uneducated, idiotic, hedonistic, petulant, feel-sorry-for-me brats and lotus-eaters who operate on the pseudo premise that life is fair and that the world owes them a living.

Socialism — which doesn’t work; never did work; and never will work — has become so pervasive that the strong gravitational pull has even sucked an unwilling middle-class psyche into the vortex, too.

The German Karl Marx, who never had an original thought in his head, managed to patch together a string of rag-tag ideas for the masses to live by that he had stolen from other theorists and produced the Communist Manifesto in 1848.

His economic, social and political theories are insane which is why they proved totally unworkable in practicality and reality.

Yet the opulent people-control freaks — the globalists — keep dragging this despicable piece of trash back into the limelight under the guise of different names and agendas.

The latest document is the United Nations’ Agenda 21, the blueprint on how world’s society will be architected for the 21st Century’s living patterns.

Agenda 21 is based on the Communist Manifesto that the failed United Nations, a supplant to the failed League of Nations, eagerly adopted as its manual during its formation in 1945 before World War II was officially finished in the Pacific.

One of the main ingredients to the anti-capitalism treatise is the promotion of the misleading phrase “social justice”.

The wacky “equal distribution of wealth” theory calls for a ban on privately-owned property which would serve to destroy and blend the affluent middle class in with the lower class. If the lower class can’t afford to own property, therefore, the middle class should not be allowed to own property either.

Voila. Equality! (more…)
