Under Agenda 21 “Property Seizure” is Seen as “Profit-Sharing”

Canada’s Constitution is the supreme law.

Any law passed by any federal, provincial, or territorial government that is inconsistent with the constitution is invalid.

The next highest law in the pecking order of paramountcy is the Criminal Code of Canada and the same rules of law apply–or should apply–under the Criminal Code as with the Constitution.

The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act, otherwise known as SCAN, has been a bone choking my throat ever since it was invented from somebody’s zealous imagination.

By the same token, a noisy, disruptive drug house was a bone sticking in the craw of every property owner and tenant who lived in the otherwise quiet, peaceful, respectable Old Town area of Whitehorse.

This hastily-written piece of legislation was well-intentioned but any law passed to simply to take legal action against one specific target is misdirected.

And it’s hard to say where a law may lead to in future unless a judge has the fortitude to rule that it is invalid in relationship to the paramountcy of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Criminal Code.

SCAN is handy because it is based on civil law and depends on bureaucratic scrutiny; private parties can get into the act, too. It does not require criminal charges from the police and convictions from a court. Therefore, this flimsy non-law is open for drastic abuse.

Soon after SCAN’s enactment, sure ‘nuff, the Yukon legislature made a failed attempt to quickly usher in a draconian Civil Forfeiture Act. Thankfully, the quick-acting public, nimbler than the deceitful politicians, clamped the lid shut on the forfeiture refuse posthaste.

There are already enough laws covering all bases in the Criminal Code tome to choke an oversized camel. Why does a territorial government need to write more unlawful laws to deal with one particular drug house in one community?

Farewell, Henry Lamb, Educator About Evils Against Humanity

I’ve been a devout fan and student of Henry Lamb from the minute I came across his columns over 10 years ago on Enter Stage Right which has a permanent home on my Book Bar alongside other carriers of Lamb’s valuable collection.

Although a long-time disciple, I knew little about the writer and author personally except that he has dedicated many years to educating the public about the evils of such things as Agenda 21–Agenda for the 21st Century–the United Nations, (UN) Sustainable Development, Smart Growth, Maurice Strong…

Recently, I was browsing the Oathkeepers website where I came across the heading “Henry Lamb on Maurice Strong, UN, Bilderberg, Agenda 21” with an introduction by Elias Alias.

I no doubt had read the 1997 piece, but there’s nothing like a refresher course on the litany of evils cleverly perpetrated on the unsuspecting public by the Prophet of Doom.

I wasn’t too far into Elias Alias’ introduction when I was dumb-struck by the unexpected:

“A friend in Montana known as ‘Lark’ sent to my inbox the notice of the passing of Henry Lamb. In clicking around about Henry Lamb’s death I came across a remarkable work he wrote in 1997, and I’m sure it belongs on the pages of Oath Keepers national.”

It was through Elias Alias’ subtle notice that I initially learned that freedom-loving people of the world had lost a unique and intellectual friend.

I read ”Henry Lamb on Maurice Strong”–as should everybody–saved it to my Special UN Articles file, then went clicking for additional information about the 74-year-old gentleman’s May 24th death.

Information was sparse but I did find a brief write-up by Editor Judi McLeod of Canada Free Press where I used to find Henry Lamb’s columns gracing the screen.

“News comes to Canada Free Press (CFP) this morning from columnist Michael Oberndorf of the passing of outstanding American patriot, Henry Lamb,” wrote McLeod in her perfectly-titled tribute:.“Henry Lamb: Death of a Patriot”

“One of a kind Tennessean Henry Lamb held a lifelong dedication to the American Constitution, and did more to warn average people about the destructive encroachment of the United Nations on human society than any other source.”

World Net Daily (WND), where Lamb had been a columnist since 1999, posted an In Memoriam eulogy with the very fitting subhead: “Globalism Expert Was Vociferous Defender of Constitution, U.S. Sovereignty”.

Ted Morton, the destroyer of Albertans’ Property Rights, is booted from the Alberta Legislature

In what ultimately became one of the few bright spots on Election Night for Danielle Smith and the Wildrose Party, Ted Morton lost his seat in the Alberta Legislature.  It was with great relish that I took in the news that Bruce McAllister had unseated the wannabe tyrant Ted Morton in the riding of Chestermere-Rocky View.

This is significant because Ted Morton was the architect of Alberta’s despicable set of laws that tossed Albertans’ property rights on the scrapheap of history.

Ted Morton, who has the audacity to call himself a conservative, led the charge against Alberta Property Owners when he created the set of bills that, when you read their actual function, give Alberta’s government the right to nullify almost all legal rights in that province, up to and including the ability to declare your marriage license null and void.  When taken to their logical end, they can even go so far as to declare any citizen’s Birth Certificate or Death Certificate null and void.

When the State has the power to declare you “not born”, and your land title non-existent, you are no longer living in a “conservative” province, or even a democratic one.  You are living in a totalitarian state far greater than anything even Joseph Stalin imagined.  While he certainly killed millions of his own citizens, he never attempted to declare them “not born.”

So while I am as shocked and horrified as anyone about how the polls could say one thing and the election results the exact opposite, I will take solace in knowing that Ted Morton will no longer be at the Cabinet table destroying what few rights remain for Albertans.

Property Owners Are An Endangered Species

The delegates who heard about the Wildlands Project during a 1998 Alaska Miners Conference may have naively thought the plot too outrageously unrealistic to pay heed to at the relevant time.

A reprint of Kathleen Benedetto’s paper in the July/August 1998 Mining Voice warned that the ranting of a handful of radical activists really was a must to be taken seriously.

The plan was being endorsed by environmental heavyweights and over 35 organizations, including the United Nations-approved Sierra Club and The Nature Conservancy.

They were lined up at the trough with their wonky ideas funded by wealthy, U.S.-based grant foundations such as Patagonia, Pew Charitable Trusts, The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Lynhurst Foundation, W Alton Jones Foundation and the Ted Turner Foundation.

Before the Internet Revolution, Turner Communications controlled the flow of the former mainstream media information that served to warp the minds of the masses.

The main tool behind the principles of the Wildlands Project, founded circa 1991, is the U.S. Endangered Species Act. It is not sufficient for Wildlanders to preserve what is remaining of roadless, undeveloped land. They want to re-create large swaths of wilderness by dismantling roads and dams, which, by the United Nations’ Agenda 21 standards, are not “sustainable”.

Through regulatory takings of privately-owned land, they want to reclaim plowed farmland, ranches, grazing leases and clear-cuts. Their plans cover reintroducing extinct species while disposing of some human population which Wildlanders view as a disgusting scourge to the planet.

If Wildlanders sound like a bunch of lunatics escaped from an insane asylum, then so is former U.S. Democrat vice-president Al Gore, who just about won the presidential bid in 2000. He and Wildlanders are cut from the same cloth. (more…)

‘Land-Use Planning’ Means Driving People from the Land

Under the United Nations’ Agenda 21Agenda for the 21st Century–the main thrust is to return all privately-owned property back to public domain. As with the Marxist doctrine, Agenda 21 doesn’t recognize privately-owned property because it is the cornerstone of all free societies.

America’s 50 states are being carved into 12 land-planning regions in anticipation of the forthcoming North American Union of which Canada and Mexico are part of the “three amigo partnership”.

“Partnership” is a keyword that denotes Agenda 21.

Canada is under regional land-planning concepts that link one province’s land to another under the guise of environmentalism.

One of the latest land-planning fiascos is Alberta’s Land Stewardship Act which was drafted and passed behind closed doors by Premier Ed Stelmach’s Conservative cabinet.

“Stewardship” is the keyword that indicates the Land Stewardship Act is a product of the UN’s Agenda 21. Also, under Agenda 21, “meat-eating” is not considered “sustainable” which translates into the elimination of all livestock raised for food consumption.

Unbelievably, the proposed legislation was never brought to the floor of the Alberta legislature for debate. Therefore, opposition members, press, general public, lawyers and, most importantly, landowner associations’ members and their executive directors, who never miss a trick, knew nothing about this land-grabbing Land Stewardship Act for a year.

For good reason, Albertans were in an uproar over this draconian law that dictates exactly what landowners can and cannot do with their land. If the fines and fees don’t do them in, the clincher is that regulators can expropriate land without compensation and the landowners are not allowed legal redress to defend themselves with due process before a court of law.

Alison Redford, a lawyer well-steeped in the United Nations doctrine, no doubt was elected to replace Ed Stelmach as leader of the Progressive Conservative Association in October 2011 because of a promise to rescind the Land Stewardship Act.

As the interim premier, she dispatched a dog-and-pony show to go around the province consulting with angry and frightened Albertans who had plenty to say.

“Public consultation” is another meaningless catch-all phrase that comes from the UN’s Agenda 21. It is cleverly designed to look like people are given a chance to provide input when in fact they are not. The decision is predetermined. (more…)

Withdraw from the UN’s Agenda 21. It’s easy. Just follow the lead of College Station, Texas.

Jane Gaffin wrote a great article about the United Nations’ Agenda 21 the other day titled Everybody Has Heard of Agenda 21; Most Just Don’t Know It.  After reading that I stumbled upon an article about a city in Texas named College Station.  This Texas city had withdrawn from Agenda 21, the program created at the UN’s 1992 Earth Summit on climate change held in Rio de Janeiro.

Specifically, College Station, Texas, was opting out of International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), a group that promotes what it calls “Local Governments for Sustainability” by enforcing “sustainability, climate protection, and clean energy goals” on its member communities.

City Councilman Jess Fields explains why College Station decided to cancel their ICLEI / Agenda 21 membership.

At last Thursday’s council meeting, I proposed to the council to withdraw College Station’s membership in the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) – an international organization founded in 1990 by the United Nations. Our city has been paying somewhere north of $1,000 to be a member of this organization, yet it is not to be found anywhere within the budget. Few have ever heard of ICLEI, and fewer still know that College Station has actually been a member since 2009.

I am truly excited to announce that the proposed 2013 College Station budget will not include funding for this organization. It is an insidious, extreme institution that does not represent our citizens, and for our taxpayers to continue to fund it would be ridiculous.

I applaud our management staff for their thoughtful decision to agree to withdraw from ICLEI in the next budgetary year. In particular, I’d like to thank Jason Stuebe, Assistant to the City Manager, for his extraordinarily thorough research into this and many other topics. Our staff has made the right decision here.

I also want to thank a citizen, Mary Oliver, for her steadfast efforts to bring this issue to my attention over the past couple of years. Without her interest in the subject this might not have been possible. College Station is blessed to have citizens like her who care about what goes on with their local government.

For those who think a single person can’t make a difference, I give you Mary Oliver of College Station, Texas.  I also congratulate her for her tenacity to see her city remove itself from ICLEI and Agenda 21.

Everybody Has Heard of Agenda 21; Most Just Don’t Know It

I can ask people if they have heard of Agenda 21. The inevitable answer is “no”. The response to my short explanation is either met with disdainful silence or with a “you don’t know what you’re talking about” retort. If I ask the same people the same question 30 days later they still say “no” they haven’t heard of Agenda 21. Obviously, my explanation didn’t register with them.

On the contrary, my audience has heard of Agenda 21. Everybody has heard of it. They just don’t know it because the term has seldom if ever appeared in the major media outlets in the 20 years since the project materialized at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during a United Nations Earth Summit Conference in June, 1992.

Anybody who has heard the shop-worn terms and guilt-ridden phrases from the random collection below used in their communities, counties, provinces, territories, states, countries has heard of Agenda 21:

  1. Sustainable Development
  2. Sustainable America
  3. President’s Council on Sustainable America
  4. White House Rural Council
  5. Land councils
  6. Sustainable Development Initiatives
  7. Environmental Initiatives
  8. Community Initiatives
  9. Sustainability
  10. Unsustainable
  11. Stewardship
  12. Partnership
  13. Stakeholder
  14. Smart Growth
  15. Environmental (this or that) (more…)

Sack the Menacing Marxist Agenda 21 and Subsidiary Programs

When politicians were in full cry about the benefits of linking the state of Alaska with Canada’s province of British Columbia via rail back in 2004, the only thing I could visualize the trains hauling was human cargo.

One reason I envisioned something akin to the Jews and Gypsies herded onto cattle cars for their trip from Eastern Europe to the Nazi concentration camps is due to a United Nations brainchild called Smart Growth.

Smart Growth is just one of a multitude of methods for carrying out Agenda 21 that has been moving at a slow-motion, under-the-radar pace since the plan was hatched during the United Nations’ Earth Summit, a big environmental brainwashing conference staged in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992.

Yet the communistic theories have been on the drawing board since the United Nations was formed in 1945.

Over the years, Agenda 21’s insidious, ever-expanding tentacles have reached out in every direction to surreptitiously encapsulate every facet of people’s lives while they weren’t paying attention.

Agenda 21–which simply means “Agenda for the 21st Century”–is the ultimate plan of action to save the world from human activity. That means dismantling industrial civilization and relieving individuals of their right to own property, specifically real estate.

The Rio Earth Summit also produced the Convention on Biological Diversity; Framework Convention on Climate Change; and Statement of Forest Principles.

A host of ways and means was set up the same year to advance the ambitious Agenda 21. Working in collaboration with an incredibly large non-government organizational (NGO) structure, the United Nations formed a Commission with the cute-sounding name “Sustainable Development”.

One project among many others under the Sustainable Development umbrella is a Wildlands Project that calls for eliminating human presence. Its purpose is to “re-wild” landscape and return at least 50 percent of Canada as well as America’s 50 states back to a natural condition reminiscent of before the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620.

Proponents of Smart Growth and the Wildlands Project rank the animal kingdom and bug population above importance to the intelligent human species. Therefore, low-life humans will have to be relocated into “special” habitat areas.

Sustainability and a Free Society Are Not Compatible

A conservative-minded individual passes through several distinct stages before he is enveloped by the Marxist-Leninist ideology.

First, he rants that the philosophy is damnable, dangerous, disorderly, counter-opposed to law and the Christian faith and is a scourge to a “free society”.

Next, he is brainwashed to believe he has no rights and tires of standing up for some nebulous thing. The issue is of no importance one way or another to him, he says.

Finally, he asserts to having always upheld and believed in the socialist doctrine. He is converted to the fold and displays solidarity in the spirit of “getting along” with his new comrades.

When people stop fighting for their rights, beliefs and the law that govern their abilities to exercise their freedoms, they are finished; they are doomed; they are slaves.

Almost daily another person falls victim to socialism. And another so-called conservative politician is heard speaking from the left side of his mouth about the virtues of “sustainable development” and extolling extortion of the private sector with catchy terms like “partnerships” and “stakeholders” (euphemisms for “environmentalism” cum Marxism).

Why would conservative-thinkers praise “sustainable development” (euphemism for “environmentalism” cum Marxism)?

It is not compatible with a “free society”because sustainable development thwarts ownership of private property which is the cornerstone of any free and democratic society.

Yet the Canadian government’s report to the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development in 1996 made a harebrained statement,

Canada believes the establishment of an international financial and economic system that is conducive to sustainable development must be a cornerstone of efforts to implement Agenda 21.”

Inclusive in private property are mining claims, which are privately-held property where a person conducts his business. But a regulatory taking of any privately-owned property by any government is the beginning of the end to a “free society”.

In upholding the United Nations’ desire to destroy capitalism, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled against private property rights on July 29, 2003. (more…)
